Artwey Recommended Links to Useful Websites

Published: 9th April 2010

Artwey recommends the following websites - to find out more about the Cultural Scene in Dorset and beyond.

The Weymouth and Portland Partnership have a splendid website, both amusing and clever but also packed full of useful information and a great diary of events.

The Weymouth Arts Network  is a forum for local artists, somewhere virtual to float ideas and promote activities.

The Dorset County Council website Arts section is full of useful information and contacts.

Dorset Loves Arts is a campaign to create awareness of the benefits of artistic activities in the county. The Ning Website is well worth signing up to.

The Hidden Dorset website is a great source of ideas for places to visit and things to see - you can suggest "gems" and get permission to post details about your own gems and events. The mapping system is wickedly clever and the search facilities are recommended if you are looking for somewhere to take that special visitor.

The South West Open Studios CIC website is a good source of information about other Open Studios across the SW region.
