Since my Fine Art degree show in 1990 , I have combined painting , with a variety of art-based jobs such as sculpting marine habitats in sea-life centres , along with working in our family fishing and diving holiday business.
I work mainly in watercolours and oils and love colour and detail.
Previous exhibitions include the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year Finals 2009 and 2010, and the Society of Wildlife Artists Annual Exhibition 2009......and now David Shepherd WAY 2011 at the Mall Galleries in London 6th-11th June.
As well as painting the sea and the creatures that live in it, I also specialise in human and animal portraiture, ,and am always available for commissions.

As I am working in my studio most days, I will be opening to the public from 12-6pm as well as the final weekend.
