I teach felting techniques to small and large groups. We use merino fleece, dyed to give a choice of many beautiful colours with which to work. The coloured fleece can be combined by carding to produce a multiplicity of shades and tones.
I am opening my own home studio during the event, where I will be demonstrating some of the techniques I use. See this link.

I will be running felting taster sessions at Upwey Hall on Wednesday 22nd Sept from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. The cost for a taster session is £6 including materials. Come along and get creative, beginners welcome. Please book by email to reserve a place or risk just dropping in. Pay on the day!
You will be able to make 3D objects such as vessels, bags, purses etc and 2D wall hangings and pictures. You can embellish your pieces with threads, beads, wire, buttons etc working creatively with shape, texture and colour.
It is a very tactile medium as the word 'felt' implies.
No experience is necessary; beginners are welcome.
If you would like more information about felting or the workshops then please contact me.
