The Exhibitors
Sarah Gilpin

Expressive and poised gestural forms working with the inherent and evolved structure of wood and stone. Offcuts normally discarded are re-visioned to reveal innate qualities, subtle patterns, contrasting textures and surfaces. Both indoor assemblages and larger outdoor carvings including Portland stone water bowls. Unusual photographs which re-view the sculptures, Portland itself and Portland rock, are available - as canvases, table mats, cards and calendars.

Wendy Manning

Mini-installations of witty and mobile wire/plaster characters set in a ‘landscape’ created from collected and recycled objects. Emerging from raw soapstone, silky figurative sculptures, each with its own energy, invite you to hold and spend time with them. Plus a month-long creative journal, a sampler of a variety of work, which is elaborated through photographic records and text.
