About the Exhibition

Inspired by the sea and rural areas of the deep countryside near where he lives, Brian has developed a strong connection with his surroundings, which is highly reflected in the landscape work he has produced over the years.
His images include work in HDR and a wide range of panoramic views giving a highly stylised technique to his work, using depths of colour, light and movement to define atmosphere and a sense of place.
His photographs are permanently on view where his studio is based at the Island Gallery in Easton Square on Portland which is a small friendly gallery, bursting with arts, crafts and unusual gifts, many handcrafted locally.

OPEN : Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 5.30pm

About Artwey May June Open Studios in Weymouth and Portland 2011

The Artwey CIC Open Studio event will be held in 2011 for three weekends and two working weeks between 28th May and 12th June

Artwey has produced a printed guide map of the studios. This website also contains that information and much more about each member artist.

The printed maps are now available from the venues and local distribution points, such as the Tourist Information Centres and social gathering places such as pubs - if the artists have visited them yet!

The map can also be seen online and downloaded in sections from this website - at this link.

A handy table of opening times can be found at this link - as images and a downloadable PDF.

You can win a voucher for £100, to be spent with any Artwey Artist, by entering the Six of the Best draw. Full details are on the printed map and also on the webpage at this link.
