I enjoy the printmaking process, finding it absorbing and therapeutic. It also forces me to decide which lines are most important for an image in terms of desired effect or message.
I work almost entirely from my own drawings and photographs. Much of my work is inspired by travel to remote places, especially along or near coastlines. Other work is based on folk-tales and mythology. |
