The condensed version of how I became the lady in my profile picture...
I went from being broken mentally by mainstream science teaching to finding a way out but our income needed subsidising. With a husband who was already a hobby blacksmith and reluctant to make the items I knew would sell I taught myself how to do it, created some new designs, tweaked his existing ones and here we are. The majority of what you see is my work with the occasional helping hand from my husband and two sons (when they need money).
During the quieter forging times last year I found myself still feeling that creative itch and a reluctance to not be productive so I turned my hand to putting my creations on paper. At first I dabbled with pastel pencils but have started to branch out in to ink and water colour and I have plans to extend into more mixed media work. Watch this space. I am currently living my best, if some what very very busy, life.
