She's bloody, she’s sweet, she’s Evel Burdett! Based in Weymouth, Evel has been published by Heroica, Feast Zine, Jawbone Journal, and more. In 2023, her collection of horror, feminist poetry was shortlisted for the Aryamati Poetry Pamphlet Prize. Evel runs creative writing workshops across Dorset and previously helped create The Omniverse Poetry Trail. Her self-published zine titled ‘Evel’s holy guide to obsession, devotion, and being your most deluded, hottest self’ explores themes of infatuation and heartbreak. She likes to make art about love in all its many forms. Especially the weird ones.
