Tamasine Price
I settled in Weymouth at 13 after a childhood of moving around, drawn back to where my family history runs deep, with generations of my ancestors living in Portland and Weymouth. Growing up by the Dorset coast gave me a lasting connection to the sea and the natural landscape that continues to shape my work.

My creative path began with a degree in Sculpture, followed by a career balancing teaching with my artistic practice. Over the years, my sculptural development gradually led me towards qualifying as a jeweller, where I continue to refine my skills through ongoing study.

I now work primarily in silver with touches of gold, creating jewellery inspired by the textures and rhythms of the coastline — from waves and shells to pebbles and driftwood. My sculptural background influences each piece, which I approach as a small, tactile work of art.

I am the founder of Dorset Seaside Silver, where I design and handcraft jewellery from my Weymouth studio, celebrating the beauty of the sea through contemporary craftsmanship.
